How It Works
Hotel pickup in the city centre, Cat Bi, or the Vinh Niem bus-station area. We leave town before the container traffic builds.

There are coaches from Ben xe Vinh Niem and Ben xe Cau Rao up to Lang Son, roughly 250 km and 5.5 hours for 170,000 to 220,000 VND, and they drop at Ben xe phia Bac. Then you still need a taxi the last 17 km to Dong Dang, and you need the timing to line up with a border that shuts at 19:00. No direct train runs from Haiphong to Lang Son; the rack of connections goes through Hanoi and eats the day.
